CPL employs guys and gals who are new to painting. Some are young and it’s their first job, some have had prior experience in other fields. The team at CPL have the patients and capacity to train and upskill painters at all levels. From sanding you'll move onto sanding, from there you'll step on up to sanding. Maybe one day you'll get to clean out some brushes or fill some holes. Eventually you will be able to paint the Sky tower, or the Rainbows End Rollercoaster. Sub-contractor painters have always featured at CPL. A bit more nomadic than the wages painter, the Subbie pays their own tax, drives their own vehicles and employs their own staff. CPL only employ Subbies that are already known to us. Word of mouth is so strong in this industry, if you’re a good worker, word gets around and it’s easy to make friends. The Subbies at CPL are all our good friends. The relationship between us is what makes it work. It’s not often you can spot the difference between our wage’s guys and our subbies.
